[He doesn't want her to take the long walk to get there. There's the bus, sure, but...he's found that it's kind of six one, half dozen the other, considering the walk it takes to get to the bus stop to begin with.]
if you were here... with the mood i'm in i'd get us in trouble
To put it briefly, Kimbley and I intend to follow through on the request made of us in the dreams, in hopes of directly contacting Liewen. As much as I loathe the prospect, I feel it might be one of the best things we can do in our current position.
We feel it'd likely be more effective if all three of us do it together.
She hates this. The image from her dreams makes her sick to think of. It conjures images of that beach in February, another time when she was expected to cut out somebody's living heart, and she can't get out of it the same way this time.
But it's no worse than what she does to survive anyway, is it? At least this might get them answers. Then there's the other two; even if she owes them nothing for stumbling into that tunnel with her, it might be better to keep their alliance. A burden shared.]
Light sparks in the darkness, a blown circuit that somehow seems soothing. It beckons each dream-goer closer, the sparks growing louder, brighter, until another light blows and sparks off to the side. The darkness is no longer black but a faint static, wrapping around his guest like a blanket, and from the sparks a form is revealed. The fourth god.
"You've finally done it."
His voice calls out and it feels stronger than it did the last time. It's cocky, even while leaking with impatience, and this dream space becomes clearer. There's technology strewn this way and that, creating the illusion of a floor where there is none. Televisions, radios, screens and wires, they're all sparking, some glowing softly, and the space is left in a constant dim light. His hand moves out, resting along the edge of a broken, lopsided television. No longer immobile, he makes the most of his freedom. Fingers tap along the edge of the television. "Good work."
His hand lifts up and stretches out to the side in a wide gesture, and he looks to the dream-goer for the first time. His gaze is vivid, so clear that it seems impossibly real, more than just a dream. There's a connection, stronger than even that felt during the time of the kill.
He doesn't smile, but the static grows warmer still. He's pleased. "Now, go! Take these gifts I've given you and make the world know my name!" His raised hand moves to gesture forward, a brief movement before it falls back to his side, his posture relaxed. "You've freed me, but she's growing stronger. Don't stop now! I can give you even more..."
The static grows louder until it swallows the entire dream, leaving only the dreamer and a feeling that they've been recognized.

[Red. Red, that's not helpful.]
You might want to be near water anyway. If it works the same as it did for me, you'll *have* to take a dive.

...howd it work for you?

[It was an ugly night and she doesn't want to go into details.]
My gills opened up on the way.

I'm sorry to ask this of you, Red. It's going to be difficult for me, too, but I can't think of what else to do.
